Life is too short. Yet, we live it with regrets. We don’t live to the fullest we were meant to live. We don’t love to the depths that we can. Instead we stop trying, stop hoping, stop believing. We forget our purpose. We forget our goals, our dreams. We settle, we let ourselves fall short.
My heart doesn’t want to settle. It knows what it’s looking for, though the mind can not explain it. And it wants no other way. Yes, it is very stubborn! A life of regret is a life of punishment. I can not bear to be a prisoner when I know there is freedom. They tell me, time is running out. Yet, I have just begun to live. This life is not about your goals for me. This life is about the purpose Jesus has called me to.
