This is my 100th blog! I can’t believe I’ve written that much; 100 came by real quick.
I started blogging October 2016 because I wanted to share my story, my journey, my mistakes, and my failures. And by no means is my story that interesting, but it has something that we all want. I think Christians struggle with being vulnerable, in fact a lot of people do. It means having to unmask certain areas of life that are the most sensitive. But what I learned is that everyone around me had their own struggles, some similar to mine and others far different. Hence the common denominator between all of us is HOPE.
So I started writing; I wanted to inspire people and bring light into this world. When I began this adventure, my hope was that I would reach the people around me. In everything I wished that God would be gloried. I only wrote when something was on my heart. Whether it was poetry, an experience, or someone who inspired me in return – for everything that was written someone was touched by my words. Before I knew it, my stories reached people throughout the world. I was able to connect with and mentor people through depression, relationships, careers, and personal struggles. Today, that’s a few less suicides, a few who found ways to use their talent, a few who found their calling, and many who found hope in the midst of their circumstances. Though my vision was small, God’s plan was greater!
I’m just one ordinary person and I have so enjoyed connecting with each one of you through out this world. I feel so truly blessed because through mentoring you, you have taught me much! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my stories would reach as far as they did. Take a look at this:
United States, India, Canada, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Ireland, United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Australia, Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Sweden, South Africa, Nigeria, Ukraine, Romania, Antigua & Barbuda, Cameroon, Oman, Turkey, Thailand, Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Greece, France, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Belgium, New Zealand, Switzerland, Moldova, Angola, Egypt, Denmark, Mexico, Italy, Anguilla, Jamaica, Germany, Singapore, Ghana, & Niger.
Many have asked me if I get paid to blog or essentially write. In this single life, my time has been devoted to meeting people for coffee, replying to countless emails – bringing words of truth and hope. And no, I don’t get paid to write! My mentor Amy once said to me, “God will redeem everything for your good and for His glory”, and Her Name Means Wild is for His glory! ♥️
Thank you to everyone who has been encouraging me and supporting me!
Much love ❤️
“The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you”
