The silence was supposed to be calming.
But the quiet was so loud.
I could hear each expiration,
The wind wrestling with leaves,
The crunching beneath my feet.
I heard the echo of your voice,
My soul is extroverted
A never ending speech.
The silence was supposed to be restful,
There were no words that were spoken
And yet, so much has been said.
Ah, the silence is loud
It speaks the words I know none of
The language of my soul
And there I find you
In the middle of my wilderness
