So, starting with a confession. I’ve never been to a Basketball game or the United Center. I don’t know what I was waiting for. That would all change when a sweet friend surprised me by taking me to a Bulls game. Going to a basketball game was such an amazing experience. I’m so blessed to have such a sweet girl look up to me and to even think about doing something kind and special for me.
Kindness goes a long way.
No matter what side of the spectrum you are on, there is always someone out there, looking for someone to show them kindness. The true gift isn’t the gesture, but rather the kind heart behind the gesture. Why do we wait for “kindness day” to do something nice for a stranger, a friend, or family member? Can you imagine what this world would look like if we all showed a simple act of kindness?
By the way, it was such a fun night!
